Every teacher, should try once in a while to integrate content in language teaching... it would be more meaningful.
In every language class content is King,or should be... Language cannot be really acquired without a content and a context, students relate everything they learn to their daily life, background and above all to their interests, otherwise learning environment would be really DULL!!!
I could say without any hesitation that all English language teachers have to blend content with language to get the best from their students, as well as to keep them motivated and interested.
So, please English teachers remember, you should incorporate different subjects in your daily teaching to keep it updated.
I totally agree with you, keep a student based program, they should define the use they want to apply in their second language, :)
